LLR 55 is August 7-10, 2026!
Register for the RegattaLLR 54 benefitted three charities: The Walker Area Community Center, Can Do Canines of Minnesota and Walker Youth Hockey. LLR 54 donated nearly $7,000 to these three organizations!
LLR55 (2026) is three race segments: Saturday, Sunday and Monday, August 8-10, 2026.
Sailing, campfires, music, camaraderie; join us! Boats race in divisions. When possible, single hull type divisions are created.
Registration and On-Site Info
The regatta fee includes participation in the three day race and two adult tickets to the Sunday evening Taco Bar. Additional Taco Bar tickets are for sale online and at race packet pickup.
The Awards Ceremony on Monday afternoon will be at Shores in the LLR tent. Walker Youth Hockey will provide an informal meal with a free-will donation to their program.

Camping and Lodging
- Festival-style camping is available on premises at Shores of Leech Lake; individual campsites are not assigned.
- All LLR participants must register with both the LLR Race Committee and Shores of Leech Lake.
- LLR boats on premises at Shores are $20 per night.
- Crew and LLR guests sleeping on Shores premises are $20 per head/night. This applies to crew sleeping in a boat, tent, camper, car, etc.
- Shores also has lakeside cottage rentals. For other lodging options, visit the Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
Crane and Waivers
- A crane is available to lift boats. The lift fee is $150 per lift.
- Please contact Shores at least a couple of weeks before the regatta so a crane can be arranged for you.

Friday, August 7
- 3:30 PM, The Tiki Bar is open! The Tiki Bar serves Bemidji craft beer and California wine by the glass.
- 4-7 PM, Check-In & Late Registration. Race packet includes: Captain's bag with course map, weekend info and two adult tickets to the Sunday Evening Taco Bar. Additional Taco Bar tickets and LLR merchandise are available for purchase.
Saturday, August 8
- 7 AM, front of lodge: Complimentary coffee & donuts.
- 7:30-8:30 AM, Team Photos.
- 8:30 AM, front of lodge: Race Meeting.
- 10 AM, Race #1!
- 4 PM, The Tiki Bar is open! The Tiki Bar serves Bemidji craft beer and California wine by the glass.
- 5:30 PM, Wood-fired, Neopolitan-style, brick-oven pizza. Free-will donation. LLR55 benefits The Walker Area Community Center, Can Do Canines, and Walker Youth Hockey.
- Evening, Campfire(s). Bring your musical instrument!
Sunday, August 9
- 7 AM, Complimentary coffee & donuts.
- 8:30 AM, Race Meeting.
- 10 AM, Race #2!
- 4 PM, The Tiki Bar is open! The Tiki Bar serves Bemidji craft beer and California wine by the glass.
- 5:30 PM, LLR tent: Taco Bar - food will be served 5:30-6:15 PM. Two adult Taco Bar tickets are included with your race registration. Purchase additional tickets in advance online, or at packet pickup on Friday.
- 6:30 PM, Street Dance and Karaoke at Shores.
Monday, August 10
- 7 AM, Complimentary coffee & donuts.
- 8:30 AM, Race Meeting.
- 10 AM, Race #3!
- 2:30 PM, The Tiki Bar is open! The Tiki Bar serves Bemidji craft beer and California wine by the glass.
- 3:30 PM, Awards Ceremony, LLR Tent - Walker Youth Hockey will serve hamburgers, hot dogs, and salad, with a free-will donation ($15 per person min donation suggested) to their program. Food will be served 3-4 PM.
